At once ornate and organic, ELHANATI x KHAITE blurs the boundaries between utility and adornment. The collaborative collection embraces the unexpected across a continuum of forms ranging from wearable accessories to fine jewelry, uniting sleek Art Deco geometry with richly textured surfaces that celebrate rather than conceal their handcrafted origins.
Defined by square and rectangular frames inset with stylized latticework, each piece gains a lively, unique surface from hammering, dripping, and layering techniques. Rare gemstones—square black spinels and petite round emeralds—are set on selected pieces with both precision and playfulness, bringing dimension to a geometric pattern or accentuating the visual jazz of asymmetry.
“KHAITE is a brand built on contrasts—continuously playing with and rebalancing opposing elements to create new ways of seeing, feeling, and dressing,” said Catherine (Cate) Holstein, founder and creative director of KHAITE. “I recognized a similar approach in ELHANATI, which merges modern Scandinavian restraint with the ancient mystique of the Middle East.”
“I love the shapes of KHAITE, with a minimalistic expression where handcraft cannot hide. It shines through everything Cate does,” said ELHANATI founder Orit Elhanati. “The sculptural way of working fascinates me, and whether applied to fashion or jewelry, it has a beautifying effect on the wearer—a tribute to the woman and to womanhood. Our commitment to craftsmanship is just as closely aligned.”
