Luxury is not just about aesthetics — it is about responsibility. Every diamond we source, every piece we create, and every decision we make is built on precision, sustainability, and ethical integrity. By choosing Botswanamark™ diamonds, crafting our jewellery in-house, and upholding the highest ethical standards, we aim to redefine what it means to create fine jewellery with purpose.
ETHICS & COMPLIANCE:
RESPONSIBILITY IN EVERY DETAIL
A science-driven approach to responsible craftsmanship
We do not exist in isolation. Every material sourced, every decision made, and every process undertaken leaves an imprint—not just on the final creation, but on the people and places that shape our planet. At ELHANATI, we believe in acknowledging that imprint, ensuring that what we create is ethical, responsible, and traceable.
Transparency is not a principle we take lightly. It is a commitment that runs through every stage of our process—from sourcing to craftsmanship, from certification to compliance. This is why we partner exclusively with Botswanamark™ to ensure we only source conflict-free diamonds. This is why we design and craft all our jewellery in-house at our Copenhagen Atelier & Boutique under sustainable and ethical conditions.
A Diamond’s Worth:
Clarity Beyond the 4 C’s
Elhanati's 5th C - Consciousness: certified, conflict-free & community-focused
A diamond is an artifact of time. A fragment of the earth’s foundation, compressed and crystallized under conditions so extreme that no human process could replicate them. It is a material that predates history, emerging from volcanic conduits in rough, opaque formations before being refined into something precise, something deliberate. This is just one of the reasons we are passionate about working with natural diamonds.
Traditionally, diamonds have been graded by the Four C’s — Cut, Clarity, Color, and Carat weight. These define a diamond’s structure, but they do not account for the decisions behind it. We believe in a fifth dimension of value: Consciousness—the clarity of a diamond’s origins, its journey, and its impact. We want to ensure every diamond that comes through the ELHANATI Atelier is certified, conflict-free and contributes to communities regardless of its carat weight, clarity, color and cut.
This is why we ensure that every diamond is not only exceptional in quality but also in provenance. We do this by sourcing all of our diamonds exclusively from Botswanamark™ - Their certification program guarantees full traceability and ethical mining practices in Botswana.
